Going to the producer, tasting their wines on the spot and maybe also visit the winery and vineyards is an awesome experience to enjoy while in Albania, that we recommend to everyone. Day 01: Airport-Tirana (18 Km, 30 min driving time)

Meet and greet with our representative at “Mother Teresa “Airport and transfer to your hotel. Depend on your arrival we have a sightseeing tour of the city. We see Scanderbeg Square, the National Historical Museum in Tirana offering an in depth introduction to Albanian history from prehistoric times to present day. Dinner in a traditional restaurant with a rustic setting and a first taste of Albania’s culinary delights. Overnight: Tirana.

Day 02: Tirana-Ardenica-Apollonia-Berat (210 Km, 3.5 hours driving time)

After breakfast, we head towards Berat, known as “The City of One Thousand Windows”-UNESCO World Heritage Site. En route we stop and visit two of the ancient cities Ardenica (an Orthodox monastery built in the 13th century).
To visit:

• The ethnographic museum
• The Castle
• Onufri museum.

Next we proceed to “Cobo winery” which is located just few miles away from Berat. The winery has a tradition dating back to the early 1900s; however they were forced to suspend operations during the Communist years. Here you will learn the art of identifying wines and take the mystery out of wine tasting. Winery produces five varieties of wine, two reds and three whites. Also produces its own walnut-flavored raki (brandy), which is normally drunk as a digestive. We then return to Berat, free time at leisure. Dinner will be served at the hotel. Overnigh: Berat.

Day 03: Berat-Cobo Winery (14 Km, 25 min driving time)
After breakfast we head to Durres-the ancient Greco-Roman port city of Dyrrachium.
To visit:

• The Roman Amphitheater
• Archeological Museum
• The Fortress

We continue towards Bardha winery, which is situated between Tirana and the Adriatic Sea. The winery represents a collection of wines harvested deep in Albania’s southern mountain region of Leskovik. Bardha winery takes great pride in blending modern wine making techniques with ancient viticulture traditions. You can enjoy Bardha’s wine and walk through the vineyards or just sit and enjoy the views with hills and trees as far as you can see. Late afternoon return to Durres, free at leisure. Overnight: Durres.

Day 04: Berat-Tirana (120 Km, 2 hours driving time)

After an early breakfast depart to Tirana and transfer to “Mother Teresa” Airport. End of our service.
